Shenandoah shows summary

This blog is a display for my projects. I make models of carnival rides out of knex and pipe cleaners and a few other items. They rack (tear down) like the real rides. If you are viewing this site for the first time let me give you a tour. Below are posts. If your new you might of missed some, so scroll threw and back to see other projects. To the right, is a tab that says pages. Click that and it will take you to a list of pages, including carnival terminology, and youtube, as well as a few others. Enjoy and comment. P.S. if you comment, don't ask me for, or leave any personal info. I ask that you address me as Shenandoah shows, or idog0698. Thank you.

Rock-O-Plane

The Rock-O-Plane is an interesting ride. The seats are loose, so they spin in circles. Its shaped like a star, and is one of the most accurate rides I have, as it only has 8 sweeps. Here's how it tears down.
Step one, Lights are on and truck is hooked up for power.(pics1-2)
Step two, The seats are removed and racked on 2 sides of the trailer.(pics3-5)
Step three, The main brace is removed, and the main boom lowers down.(pics6-8)
Step four, a section is folded in, and the lights are cut off for folding.(pics9-10)
Step five, the sweeps are folded, and the middle light is lowered backwards.(pics11-14)
Step six, the lights are turned back on.(pic15)
Step seven, the two seat racks are lifted.(pics16-17)
Step eight, the braces are lifted and folded in.(18-19)
Pics 20-21 the ride is done. 21 the back of ride racked. Pic 22 is the real ride!
