Shenandoah shows summary

This blog is a display for my projects. I make models of carnival rides out of knex and pipe cleaners and a few other items. They rack (tear down) like the real rides. If you are viewing this site for the first time let me give you a tour. Below are posts. If your new you might of missed some, so scroll threw and back to see other projects. To the right, is a tab that says pages. Click that and it will take you to a list of pages, including carnival terminology, and youtube, as well as a few others. Enjoy and comment. P.S. if you comment, don't ask me for, or leave any personal info. I ask that you address me as Shenandoah shows, or idog0698. Thank you.

New stuff

I have a few new rides to showcase. First,

The newly re built and painted vertigo. It has led color changing lights.
another pic.
The round up has been painted and was recently re lit with better electric lights.
LIGHTS!
I dont think I posted a pic of the spider with electric lights.
The chair swings were recently completely re built with 16 sweeps now instead of 8.
LIGHTS!
An areal view showing how many sweeps it now has.
Spider (pink) and vertigo (purple) trailers.
And also the pumpkin bears. It played a Halloween midway, and will then be destroyed. As I said I am disregarding the insignificant and focusing on the extreme.
Stay tuned for pics of the vortex!

Khaotic freak out on the mulligan wheel.

So if you remember, I mentioned I was building the Khaos. Well I did, and I didnt like it. So I re theamed it to be the freak out. Its kinda the same thing. Well I am here to show you it and an article on that very ride. Captions are under each picture.
Tada. that's the new freak out.
A close up of the sign.
 And color changing lights.
Oh I also re built and painted the ,mulligan wheel. It still has some issues that need fixing and some lights, and then I will post an article about it. Now the freak out article begins.

 The freak out up.
Here are the seats. They are removed,
 and racked on the platform.
All for seats removed and racked.
 Now the spacers are disconnected,
 removed,
and racked on either side of the trailer. 2 on the right 2 on the left.
Theres the carriage without seats or spacers.
Thats a silver platform. More for decoration than anything.
 Those are folded down.
Now the plug on the right is disconnected,
 turning off the right tower.
 Now see the sign?
well those are moved straight out.
Now thw winch is attached to the main carriage,
 and the cable is tightened.
Now the right tower is disconnected,
 And is raised straight up.
Now the carriage is winched in towards the tower. Sorry the pics sideways.
 Now the sweeps are disconnected,
 and folded down.
 Its current state.
Now the left tower is lowered and secured,
and then the right. The braces rack on the trailer.
 Now you see the platform?
Well those raise up, one on the front and one on the back.
They are secured with a rod.
 Now the brace feet.
They are removed and racked on the trailer.
 The side braces are removed,
 And racked on the trailer.
Now the wind braces are disconnected,
 and fold in.
 The ride is now racked.
Without lights.
The real ride.
Racked.
I have recently lit my fire ball and as I said re built my mulligan wheel so stay tuned for pics.
