Shenandoah shows summary

This blog is a display for my projects. I make models of carnival rides out of knex and pipe cleaners and a few other items. They rack (tear down) like the real rides. If you are viewing this site for the first time let me give you a tour. Below are posts. If your new you might of missed some, so scroll threw and back to see other projects. To the right, is a tab that says pages. Click that and it will take you to a list of pages, including carnival terminology, and youtube, as well as a few others. Enjoy and comment. P.S. if you comment, don't ask me for, or leave any personal info. I ask that you address me as Shenandoah shows, or idog0698. Thank you.

Updates and a thanksgiving treat.

So I have been working and I re did the hi roller trailer and sign, plus I have some pictures of the tubs up, and the newly lit fire ball. Captions under each picture.
below is a pic of what the hi roller used to look like.
You will notice that the trailer is painted.
And the decking has new hinges.
The sign has all new better looking led signs.
 The ride racked.
 The tubs of fun.
With led lights.
The real ride.
The new led lit fire ball. The pictures don't do it justice.
What the ride looks like without lights on.
A head on pic.
The real ride.
A head on pic of the blue light on the knex ride showing its brightness.
 red led
yellow led. Also I have a thanksgiving surprise.
The vortex article!!!!! YAAAAAYYYY WOOHOO!! The ride racked. You will see the fireball in the background.
 Color changing lights on.
First, a panel of the floor is removed,
And unfolded.

Now on the trailer the floor is folded in.
The last piece of the panel is removed, and the floor is assembled.
 Floor assembled.
The first part of the Back braces are removed,
another piece removed.

Now the back ground braces are attached,
as well as the side ground braces.
Now the first piece of the back braces are attached.
And the top part of the braces are attached.
The motor counters the wight of the ride so It stays stable.
All of the braces and decking are finished.
Now the tower is raised. you will see the half raised zipper in the background.
The main brace holds the tower in place wile the tower is secured.
All of the connectors are attached.
 The tower is raised.
The sign panels are removed, but I haven't made the signs yet.
Now the 2 sweeps are detached in the center,
And at the bottom of the tower.
The 2 sweeps kinda shift to the right because of the wight shift.
Now the 2 sweeps are spread apart.
The sweeps are raised and secured.
 Those are the cars.
They are removed from the trailer.
Now the ride is turned upright.
 The first car is attached,
Now the ride is moved and the final car is attached.
 The ride is finished.
Oh the signs will be put in like this once I put the signs on them.
61 and a half inches tall.
 The ride turned sideways.

Lights. A you tube video of the light show will be uploaded soon.
The real ride, I don't have any pics of the real ride with the orange, black, and purple theme.
I also recently painted the super shot tower.
The next few pics are of the thanksgiving celebration midway.

I hope you all have had a great holiday.
